Robert Bosch GmbH or Bosch, is a German multinational engineering and electronics company headquartered in Gerlingen, near Stuttgart, Germany. It is the world's largest supplier of automotive components measured by 2011 revenues .The company was founded by Robert Bosch in Stuttgart in 1886. Bosch comprises of more than 350 subsidiary companies. In addition to automotive components, which generate around 60% of its revenues, Bosch produces industrial machinery and hand tools. In India, Bosch is a leading supplier of technology and services in the areas of Mobility Solutions, Industrial Technology, Consumer Goods, and Energy and Building Technology. Additionally, Bosch has in India the largest development center outside Germany, for end to end engineering and technology solutions.










Selection Process:
The company conducts recruitment process every year to select new candidates. The selection process of the company consists of 3 rounds. These rounds are as follows:
  • Written Exam
  • Technical Interview
  • HR Interview
Academic Criteria:
  • 70 percent or above in academics with no history of backlogs (Xth , XIIth and Graduation).
  • Specialised in CSE/IT/Mech/EEE/ECE branch only.

Time allotted for the written exam is 60 minutes. There is 0.25 negative marking in the paper.
  • Technical section consists of questions from topics related to core subjects such as Network Basics, Electronic Device, Circuits, Analog, C language, OS and DBMS.
  • Aptitude section consists of questions from Boats and streams , Profit & Loss, Discounts , Time & Work ,Time and Distance, Permutation & Combination, Simple Equations, probability, partnership, etc. Verbal section consists of RC passage, fill in the blanks, Synonyms, Antonyms and Logical Reasoning questions like blood relations and sitting arrangement, etc.
Overall the level of the paper is easy to moderate.. Only those candidates who clear the written exam will qualify for the next round.

  • What is internal size of RAM, ROM in 8051?
  • Tell us a File operation in C language with an illustrated example.
  • What is the difference between i=10 & i==10?
  • What is silicon BJT circuit?
  • Compare DTL and TTL families of digital ICs
  • What is job of loader in compiler?
HR Interview:
  • How did you come to know about Robert Bosch?
  • What inspires you to join Bosch?
  • Tell me about a time when you made a bad decision.
  • What major problem have you had to deal with recently?
  • What are your short-term goals?
  • How do you evaluate success?
  • What changes would you make at your college?
  • What are your favorite subjects in your graduation and why?
  • Tell me about a time when you prioritized the elements of a complicated project.
  • Tell us your weaknesses which make you a less desirable candidate.
